Moving objects with your mind? Sounds like science fiction but it actually works with Mattel’s new Mindflex Game. With this game you will have a whole new interactive experience unlike any other games you ever played.

Here is how it works. You will wear a headset that contains sensors for the forehead and earlobes. These sensors measures your brainwave activity. When you focus your concentration, the sensors send signals to the Mindflex machine and a small foam ball will rise on a gentle stream of air blow from a fan on the machine. When you relax your thoughts the sensors send a different signal to decrease the fan speed which causes the ball to descend.
By using a combination of physical and mental coordination, you can then guide the ball through a course of various obstacles. These obstacles are customizable and can be repositioned into many different configurations.
The headset that comes with it is a little tight. Be sure to adjust the headband to fit you so you won’t get a headache when playing it for a few hours. Another problem is that Minflex is a single player game so you and your friends will have to take turns to play it.
Overall, Mindflex is definitely a fun and interesting game to play. It makes a great gift for this Christmas.
