What We Like About Let’s Imagine Elmo
When the crown is placed on Elmo’s head, he turns into Prince Elmo and plays the “Prince Elmo says” game with your child. When Elmo pretends to be a cowboy with the cowboy hat on his head, he is a counting cowboy and helps your child count to 20. When the child reaches 20, Elmo sings a special song to reward him or her.
If your child chooses to put the sea captain’s hat on Let’s Imagine Elmo, Elmo pretends to be the captain of a ship on the ocean and plays an identification game for sounds of the sea with your child. Even without wearing a hat, Sesame Street Let’s Imagine Elmo provides plenty of fun just as himself. Without a hat on, Elmo interacts whenever he is bounced, tickled, or has his nose squeezed.
If your child frequently enjoys watching Sesame Street, he or she will be familiar with a special part of the show that is just for Elmo playing pretend games. The segment is called Elmo the Musical, and it’s a favorite part of the show for many children and their caretakers. Let’s Imagine Elmo allows your child to enjoy exercising his imagination for many hours outside of the show.
With 4 interactive play modes, your child will find an endless source of entertainment coupled with great learning tools at the same time. Children are able to count to 20, follow directions, identify special sounds, and learn to sing along with the songs of Imagine Elmo. There is no end to the fun that can be enjoyed in a variety of environments including road trips and quiet time.
Elmo is a little over 9.5 inches tall and weighs about 1.5 pounds, so he’s the perfect size for children. The manufacturer recommends Let’s Imagine Elmo for children between 24 months of age and 4 years of age. Four double AA batteries are needed for operation, and they are included.
In our home, anything Elmo is always a hit, and Let’s Imagine Elmo is no different. My daughter especially loves the way his mouth moves when he’s talking and singing, and I love hearing her laugh because she enjoys his moving mouth and cute personality so much. I have a feeling we will be hearing “Prince Elmo says” for a long…long…long time to come!
